Ramsgate Carnival -ERA

Made fruit & flower costumes with Nina, Jax, Emily, Boo and what seemed like 200 kids - but I think it was about 80 just moving quickly! - A collaboration between IOTA & East Cliff Residents Association.

Teaching kids how to knot nets for their costumes for WOF - was amazing to discover that many kids couldn't make knots, 'tis the age of velcro shoes!

Whats next?

Well June seems to have zipped past. I'm on to preparing for Whitstable Oyster Festival (affectionally known as WOF). Doing workshops in schools and then the parade. The mermaid costume will come out of the cupboard and be adorned by Lisa Payne, Matt will be sporting a seagull costume. and me? well I fancy being a seahorse but not sure time and money will allow it.....lets see. Oh its on the 22nd July in Whitstable.

Animate/Planet 8925

Just spent a week on planet 8925 as 'Corporal Maggie' part of a space crew that entertained and guided 20 'Space Cadets' on a journey through time, theatre, art workshops and personal voyages. Ggggrreat fun and quite sad to leave.

RTTFP - Robot Costume

I also designed and made this costume for 'Ariel' alias Frank for the Return to the forbidden planet at the Theatre Royal. His space helmet lights ups, illuminating his head, my costume came alive with his brilliant performance.
